Harley Brown is a member of the Cowboy Artists of America, the Northwest Rendezvous in Montana, the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City and the Autry Musem in Los Angeles. His art appears in numerous private and public art collections, and he has commissioned portraits of President Ronald Reagan for his second inauguration, Winston Churchill, Sophia Loren and others. He has also painted numerous personalities for magazine covers.
Harley's love in art is painting people and especially the great individuals of the West from Mexico to the United States to the northern reaches of Canada. Harley also enjoys sculpting these individuals and his latest piece can be viewed here.
Harley, and his wife Carol reside in Tuscon. They have five children, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. They are fortunate to be able to do what they love and enjoy the comradarie of many artists.
