Robert Brubaker

Robert Brubaker, a Cornville, Arizona artist received a BFA from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1974, went on for two years of graduate studies in ceramic arts at Illinois State University.
Considered a narrative artist, he has been sculpting anthropomorphic characters in stoneware clay since 1979. The first public exhibition of this series, was in Sacramento, California in 1980. Having moved to the southwest in 1987, Robert was fortunate to be represented by the premier galleries of the time, Elaine Horwitch and Suzanne Brown.
A long and rewarding relationship with the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport Art Program, has proved to be an international venue for this artist's work.
Recently Bob has started having molds pulled of some ceramic originals and casting numbered editions in bronze
